I have had the privilege of working in the art, design, and manufacturing industries for over 20 years. My journey has taken me from hot glass studios in Sherwood Forest, UK, to exhibition design and manufacturing for museums across Canada. My portfolio is divided into sections, including Exhibition Design, Industrial Design, 3D Visualizations, Silversmithing, and Glassblowing.

Exhibition Design

Over the last seven years, I have contributed to a diverse array of exhibitions for private and public museums as Expozone’s Senior designer . This includes projects at the Canadian Museum of History, Canadian War Museum, Science and Technology Museum, Museum of Agriculture, and Pointe-à-Callière Museum in Montreal, Museum of Civilization in Quebec City and many travelling exhibits for Science North. These examples are focusing on my own design work and contribution to a variety of projects.

I have experimented with 360 degree rendering and VR visualizations to present design concepts for clients in a new way. Created in Blender 3D. Click and walk though the example below. Works with Chrome and Firefox web browsers.

I designed the cabinetry and layout of this exhibition. Everything needed to be portable to travel to remote communities across Canada. All the graphics and interactive ideas are from the larger travelling exhibition fabricated at Expozone.

Display Case Design

Display case system designed by myself and purchased by the Canadian Museum of War 2018

I personally designed this display from scratch myself. The Museum of War, our client, needed a display case that not only fulfilled environmental and conservation standards but also had restrictions on artifact visibility. The most challenging aspect was ensuring full modularity, allowing multiple display cases to be joined together to form larger units while maintaining the environment seal.

Silversmithing & Glass blowing

The roots of my Art and Design journey started in a warm glassblowing studio crafting 1200 degree glass pieces. This led me to silversmithing during my university studies, and then to the combination of silver and glass. All my work has been inspired by nature.
